Be it the salon floor in Thailand, on set with some of Australia’s biggest fashion magazines or ensuring that the many international celebs to grace his chair are ready for their close up, the career built by Seamless1 Ambassador Koh (@kohhair_) is certainly a remarkable one bedazzled by many magical moments.
We recently had the opportunity to unpack Koh’s epic career to date and discuss how Seamless1 assists in both salon and set environments.
From starting on the salon floor in Thailand through to the ‘pinch me’ moment of looking after Kylie Minogue for her Vogue Australia cover and who his dream client would be, be sure to catch our full Q&A with Koh below.
TJ: Can you give us a brief rundown of your career to date, and your proudest moments?
K: I started working in a salon in Thailand about 15 years ago, but knew I wanted to be working on more creative things too. I started testing and fell in love with shoots. Fast forward, I moved to Sydney, joined an agency and have been shooting ever since! I’m currently with Viviens in Sydney. There has been so many amazing moments, but the proudest moment so far was looking after Kylie Minogue and working with her on her Vogue cover… She gave me massages all day!
TJ: How does Seamless1 support hairdressers in salon and also as an artist?
K: In salon, Seamless1 are great to use on clients- they’re gentle and much more healthy for the hair. They are a good option for length and volume. TJ: What are your favourite things about working with extensions?

TJ: Has extensions services increased profit or clientele in salon, and if so by how much

TJ: What would your advice be to any clients looking to get hair extensions?
K: They are a great option to complete a hair look. Sometimes people think extensions will mean they will have ‘big hair’, but if you use a really small amount well it can look so natural and effortless, and suit your personality. That’s why I love Seamless1!
TJ: Who is your dream client, and why?
K: Lisa – she’s a singer, and was in White Lotus season 3. What a superstar!
