Seen as TONI&GUY’s finest, the International Artistic Team are highly experienced industry professionals, who showcase their creativity at a level which has kept the company at the forefront of the hairdressing industry.
International Artistic Director, Cos Sakkas is a long standing member of TONI&GUY’s award-winning Artistic Team and Manager of TONI&GUY’s Prestigious Advanced Academy. He works closely alongside Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck at the heart of all that is TONI&GUY.
An expert presenter, his stage presence and energy are renowned within the industry and make him a favourite choice on the world stage, seeing Cos travel extensively heading up TONI&GUY shows and seminars, recent trips including an educational tour of Japan. A popular member of the team, Cos’ charismatic personality has led to several television opportunities as well as numerous editorial and session successes.
Cos is widely recognised as a creative driving force within the industry and won the ‘Newcomer of the Year’ award in 1999 on his first attempt at the British Hairdressing Awards, as well as winning the coveted title of ‘London Hairdresser of the Year’ three times, in 2008, 2014, and most recently in 2015, which entered him into the hall of fame for this category.
His backstage liveliness and creative energy has been well received during London Fashion Week, working backstage for many seasons, he is a personal request for designers such as Betty Jackson, as well as working for designers such as Basso and Brooke, Giles Deacon, Gareth Pugh and Todd Lynn.
Exuding energy and enthusiasm, Cos’ innovative and inspiring approach to hairdressing is his key identity; he is regularly requested by top beauty journalists and for shoots. His notable credits include leading titles such as Elle, Company, Vogue and more.
