The Fellowship for British Hairdressing Annual Awards is one of our industries most eagerly anticipated events on the calendar, celebrating the very best of the best and championing the stunning work synonymous with hairdressing. In exciting news out of the UK, the Fellowship have launched a brand new award… Introducing the International Image Award!

This category, open to all hairdressers outside the UK, invites creatives from across the globe to submit their work for a chance to be awarded for the very first time!

“The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has recognised  inspiration and creativity in British Hairdressing for the past 75 years,” explains Chancellor Ashleigh Hodges. “However, we are  aware every day of the incredible imagery and talent that is on offer around the world, and we are delighted to launch our International Image Award for hairdressers to showcase  their favourite images from their portfolio and enter this prestigious award.”

Interested in joining the elite ranks of Fellowship of British Hairdressing award recipients (such as Fellowship Image of the Year recipient Errol Douglas MBE, featured here)? You’ll need to submit a professional image shot in a studio setting, and because of the temperamental post-COVID climate, are permitted to use any work from your back catalogue.

Simply upload your image to Instagram, tag @fellowshiphair and use the hashtag #fellowshipinternational21.

It’s as simple as that to have your collection recognised on the world stage… Entries close on 3 September 2021, so be sure to get uploading to IG prior to that!
