Louis Vuitton’s Time Capsule Exhibition has finally hit our shores, in an exclusive partnership with Melbourne’s own Chadstone Shopping Centre, ‘The Fashion Capital’.

After stints in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, Berlin, Singapore and Dubai, the display will now allow Australians the opportunity to discover and explore the 160-year-plus history of the House.

Landmark innovations and show-stopping designs feature alongside rare and celebrated items, demonstrating Louis Vuitton’s continued consumer relevance in an ever-changing world.

It becomes all the more impressive when considering the advances in transport technology since the Brand’s conception in 1854.

Following a visual timeline of landmark moments, there are six display areas, each showcasing an integral aspect of the Louis Vuitton history; the Artisans Room, The Key to the Codes, Journey around the World, Elegance in Motion, Icons of the House and Magic Malle.

To tailor the experience for local audiences, key pieces in the collection include former Australian Cricket Captain Michael Clarke’s cricket trunk, the 2015 Rugby World Cup Trunk, and Mrs Lloyd Jones’ trunk.

The free exhibition will be running until March 21, and is open Monday –Wednesday 9AM –5PM, Thursday – Saturday 9AM –9PM and Sundays 10am –7pm.
