Strong, masculine and epitomising the modern man: American Crew and Van Heusen aligned once again, for an illuminating night brimming with style and mentorship.
Held at luxe Melbourne establishment Johnny’s Green Room, the event saw Van Heusen’s 2019 mentors honoured with a night of luxury grooming courtesy of American Crew barber Paul Masci and 2018 All-Star Challenge winner Kelvin Wong.
GQ Australia Editor Mike Christensen played host to a star-studded guest list including Australian Actor Richard Roxburgh, Comedian Nassem Hussain, Footballer, Billy Slater and Army Veteran and Paralympic athlete Curtis McGrath.
American Crew used their latest shaving and skincare ranges to provide bespoke facial grooming and styling. The versatile ‘Fibre Cream’ was the undeniable hero product of the night, integrated into all of the Van Heusen Mentors’ pampering sessions.
Dressed impeccably – whilst showcasing Van Heusen’s range of beautiful cuts and tailoring – the chosen delegates reemphasised the importance of mentorship across a variety of fields, speaking on the importance of motivation in the achievement of success.
Sharing individual accounts of their stellar careers, each mentor opened up through a respective address, shedding light on the circumstances that ultimately moved them to strive toward greatness.
Ensuring self-care could be mastered in the comforts of their own homes, each mentor was also treated to the American Crew shaving and skin care range, to look after their beards and skin long after proceedings.
