With their annual All Star challenge just around the corner, the team at American Crew are gearing up for greatness… most recently partnering with Kings Domain for a unique shopfront installation.
Melbourne’s iconic Bourke Street Mall was the designated site last weekend for an exciting pop-up display courtesy of American Crew, Kings Domain, and retail chain, Myer.
The three day exhibit saw the front windows of Myer Bourke Street transformed into an upscale barber joint, with Kings Domain’s resident stylists on hand to showcase their barbering skills to shoppers and onlookers alike.
Barbers presented a variety of signature American Crew looks including styles from the Americana collection, classic fades, the pompadour look, as well as various razor grooming techniques. Representatives from American Crew also shared product knowledge, skincare samples and grooming advice to passers-by.
Kings Domain’s newest barbershop – located on level four of Myer – has fast become a primary grooming destination for Melbourne’s sartorially inclined male. Clients not only enjoy classic barbering techniques (cutthroat shaves, beard trims and facial grooming) but are also treated to a full grooming experience.
The bespoke exhibition was the latest in a string of activations accompanying Myer’s Myer Beauty campaign, aimed at showcasing the store’s seasonal beauty offerings.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for American Crew to showcase their range combined with barbering to the general public” said American Crew Marketing Director, Cristobal De la Rubia.
“Kings Domain is the quintessential American Crew Barber destination, so the fit for the window display was perfect. The response and feedback from the public was overwhelming and so positive in response to the product performance.”
