NEWS: INTRODUCING WILD VETIVER FROM CREED

The House of Creed has this week introduced Wild Vetiver, a new fragrance that reimagines one of perfumery’s most enduring ingredients through a more relaxed, nature-led lens.

The scent explores vetiver with a lighter, freer energy – balancing the brand’s heritage craftsmanship with an untamed edge.

Vetiver has long been part of the Creed fragrance story, traditionally used for its earthy, woody depth. With Wild Vetiver, the house shifts the focus slightly, presenting the ingredient in a composition that feels both polished and easygoing. The inspiration is an English garden party that gradually spills into the surrounding landscape – elegant, but never overly formal.

The fragrance opens with a bright lift of timur berries, bergamot and pink pepper, offering a citrus-spiced freshness. At the heart, rose centifolia is paired with geranium and blackcurrant bud for a green, lightly floral character. The base settles into vetiver, cedarwood and amberwood, giving the scent its grounded, woody trail.

Sourcing remains central to the composition. Creed works with a long-time partner that has produced vetiver oil since the 1960s, collaborating closely with farming cooperatives to ensure quality and traceability across the ingredient’s supply chain.

Visually, Wild Vetiver arrives in an emerald-toned flacon, accompanied by a limited-edition celadon leather refillable travel atomiser designed to be filled directly from the bottle.

Positioned as a more free-spirited counterpart to Creed’s Original Vetiver, the new release leans into contrast – classic but modern, refined yet relaxed.

Wild Vetiver is available through Creed boutiques and online.
