Cos Sakkas has triumphed once again, taking home the coveted title of British Hairdresser of the Year at the 2024 HJ British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional. This marks his third consecutive win, making him one of only six individuals in the history of the awards to achieve this remarkable feat.

As Global Creative Director for TONI&GUY, Cos clinched the title with his breathtaking Eclipse collection, showcasing his exceptional creativity and technical prowess. Reflecting on his win, Cos expressed heartfelt gratitude to his team, his wife Samantha, and his family, acknowledging their unwavering support.

Jayne Lewis-Orr, Executive Director of the awards, praised Cos for his achievements, saying, “To win this prestigious award once is an incredible accomplishment, but to secure it three times is truly exceptional. Cos is a brilliant representative of British hairdressing.”

In addition to Cos’s victory, TONI&GUY enjoyed a highly successful night, with five other awards, including Australia’s very own Jude McEwen from TONI&GUY Perth Central taking out  International Collection of the Year.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the British Hairdressing Awards remain one of the industry’s most prestigious recognitions, with this year’s event held at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House.
