Award-winning Melbourne hairdresser and Vision Blonde salon owner, Chetan Mongia, has been named a finalist in the prestigious 2025 International Hairdressing Awards.
Mongia is competing in the Best International Women’s Commercial Collection category with his stunning ‘BLONDE’ collection, a tribute to the timeless beauty of blonde hair.
The ‘BLONDE’ collection, inspired by the elegance of Vogue and high-fashion editorial shoots, showcases a range of blonde shades, from warm caramel tones to icy platinum hues. It’s a celebration of individuality, with each style reflecting a unique identity and a sense of reinvention.
Mongia, who was recently crowned Victorian Hairdresser of the Year at the 2024 AHFAs, is the only Australian finalist among 18 global nominees in the seventh edition of the awards. The ceremony will take place in Manchester, UK, in June 2025.
“This recognition is a testament to my passion for hair and the dedication I’ve poured into this collection,” said Mongia. “Hair is more than just a craft; it’s a language of self-expression and transformation.”
The International Hairdressing Awards are a global platform for celebrating excellence in hairdressing, and Mongia’s nomination is a proud moment for Australian artistry.
Good luck on the global stage, Chetan!
