The Journal is proud to announce its Media Partnership with Aveda, for the 2017 Aveda Colour Harmony Awards. An invaluable platform for showcasing new and established talent, the annual event honours creativity and technical skill across five major categories: namely the titular Colour Harmony category, New Talent, Editorial, Men’s, and Salon Collection categories.

This year, Aveda’s salon network, stylists and hair artists were tasked with creating their own interpretations of the 2017 theme, ‘The Future of Fashion’; celebrating the spirit of Aveda and the synergy between hair cut, colour, styling and makeup. Entrants were invited to demonstrate their technical dexterity and creative vision, whilst showcasing their 2018 hair fashion predictions.

From countless entries across the country, Aveda’s Global Artistic Team would go on to select three finalists for each category. Finalists in the Colour Harmony, New Talent and Editorial categories will recreate their winning looks before a live judging panel on Monday 31st July, with winners to be announced shortly thereafter during Colour Harmony’s evening’s proceedings
