Redken was on hand this past Sunday to get Australia’s movers and shakers ready for the Australian fashion industry’s biggest calendar event. Held at Surry Hills’ Edwards & CO, the  #DOYOUSHADESEQ event treated industry insiders to the ultimate colour and style pamper session ahead of the busy week in store. 

With the concept of high shine hair being the ultimate accessory for seasons to come, the #DOYOUSHADESEQ theme proved the perfect way to kick off what will surely be a serious resurgence in style (following a year of hiatus in 2020). 

“Today is all about our amazing product Shades EQ,” says Redken Educator Rachel Busby, of Muse Hair. “It’s the ultimate accessory for shine and high gloss.” 

“Redken is back in the building and we’re back at fashion week.”

Lancome’s Director of Artistry, Lara Srokowski, and her team were also on hand to finish the glow ups with expert make up application. Dewy skin and natural looks were the perfect compliment to the cuts, colours and treatments manifested by the team of Redken artists. Selfie-ready, indeed. 

Outside of getting key industry members ready for their Fashion Week close-ups, Redken will be hosting the AAFW Hair Masterclass. Lucky attendees will have the opportunity to soak up the insider Instagram-worthy hair colour and style secrets from two of Australia’s leading hair experts, celebrity stylist Richard Kavanagh and hair colour queen, Sheree Knobel.
