TREND: BEST IN HAIR AND BEAUTY @ PARIS FASHION WEEK SS26

Paris Fashion Week’s spring/summer 2026 season proved once again that beauty is more than a finishing touch- it’s a narrative of texture, tension and reinvention. From Isabel Marant’s desert-drift boho spirit to Schiaparelli’s sharp surrealism, hair and makeup across the capital’s runways spoke in bold strokes and whispered accents. At Isabel Marant, sun-bleached waves and hand-braided accents echoed the brand’s nomadic ethos, while Loewe traded in softness for sleek, flipped silk-press finishes that mirrored its newly sharpened aesthetic. Schiaparelli brought theatrical drama to hair, with asymmetry and sculptural updos aligned with its surreal motifs, and Vivienne Westwood carried punk-romance into beauty, mixing undone texture with rebellious polish. Over at Aje, the minimalist Australian label embraced effortless undone elegance- strands that looked windblown, free, yet considered. And even Christopher Esber, in his Paris foray, offered a quieter counterpoint: soft, clean silhouettes underplayed by subtle, modern styling.

Here, we recap our favourite hair and beauty moments from Paris Fashion Week SS26.

Boho Brilliance at Isabel Marant

Sun-bleached waves and hand-braided accents echoed the Isabel Marant’s free-spirited and nomadic ethos.

Sleek and Chic at Schiaparelli

Schiaparelli’s runway hair embraced sculptural restraint: styles were pulled and sleek, yet with sharp lines and refined control that echoed the strong shoulders, column gowns and trompe-l’oeil knits dominating Roseberry’s designs.

Pretty Punk at Vivienne Westwood

Hair and makeup at Vivienne Westwood leaned into romantic melancholy- wind-blown undone textures, soft nods to corsetry and lace- yet with a sharp, rebellious edge that only Westwood can deliver. Think tousled, slightly dishevelled waves paired with precise, dark or smudged liners; echoes of Victorian romance but stained with punk’s insurrectionary smudge.

Perfectly Polished at LOEWE

Hair at Loewe SS26 tended to embrace sleekness with subtle polish rather than overt statement or overtly textured looks. There were smooth finishes, clean silhouettes, and a modern restraint.

Effortless Elegance at Christopher Esber

The hair brief? Sports luxe. Helmed by Hair Director Scott Sloan, the L’Oréal Professionnel Pro’s created a sleek balance of strength and simplicity for the Christopher Esber showcase.

Toussled Texture at Aje

Think the quintessentially Aussie girl with natural textures, transported to the runways of Paris.
