The runways of New York Fashion Week SS26 have officially confirmed what the front row already knew: it’s just as much about the hair and beauty as it is the looks charging down the runway.

From sculptural shapes to soft vintage chignons, this season’s looks were less about perfection and more about personality. 

Across the shows, hair became a storytelling tool, with nods to nostalgia, subculture, brat summers gone by and high-gloss futurism woven seamlessly into the collections.
