ANNOUNCING KEUNE’S ARTSERIES TROPHY FINALISTS FOR 2017
Finalists for the 2017 Keune ArtSeries Trophy have officially been announced! The ArtSeries Trophy offers Keune’s salon stylists an opportunity to showcase their vision and skill, across two main categories: Apprentice and Senior hairstylist – drawing creative inspiration from
the ‘Nocturnal Reflection’ collection, a set of inspired looks curated by Keune’s Creative team. A bi-annual initiative, this exciting competition is an invaluable platform for dedicated hairdressers, allowing a chosen few to share their stylistic interpretations with their regional counterparts – and the industry at large.
The inspired portfolio features eleven artistic looks, each conceived and created by Keune’s talented Creative Team. Drawing aesthetic cues from the colours
of nocturne, the enigmatic collection is at once masterfully envisioned and seamlessly executed. Blunt choppy strands offset wild, textured shapes – to create stylized renderings of the beauty of night. With its darkly hued palette, and sharp silhouettes, the collection is every bit the nocturnal fantasy. More than a series of exquisite images, ‘Nocturnal Reflection’ signifies the foremost step in the ArtSeries journey, with Keune inviting its hairdressing contingent to create their own representations of the theme for ArtSeries Trophy entry.
