For Albus Lumen’s 10 Year Anniversary, celebrated at Australian Fashion Week 2025, Redken Hair Director Diane Gorgievski created unique textures and beautifully bouncy blowouts.
The result? Pure, unadulterated glamour.
Diane’s hair direction for Redken evoked an air of opulence that eminated through Albus Lumen’s studio, transformed into a plastic-wrapped runway for the evening. A true celebration of the art of hair, intriguing shapes and dialled up glamour served as the centre-point.
“This collection to me is very much about the celebration of hair,” explains Redken Hair Director Diane Gorgievski. “It’s all glamorous drama, but in a modern way.”
“Our hero product for the more structured looks was Redken’s Fashion Work 12, which really helped us emulate these incredible artistic structures.”
“Then we had our beautiful ’80s inspired blowouts which were all set on base with Root Lifter. We set the hair in classic, old-school sets which took FOREVER but was worth it for the beautiful end result.”
The hair direction for this show really was a celebration of the art of hair in a super glamorous way, made possible with Redken products.

Having known each other for over 15 years, Albus Lumen founder Marina Afonina and Diane have achieved an almost artistic shorthand, on full display within this collaboration.
“It’s been so great to work with each other on this after so many years of knowing each other,” says Marina. “I was really inspired by the black swan ball, but interpreted in a modern way. I wanted the hair to be really glamorous, with lots of different curves and shapes.”
“I was super excited to work with Marina on this,” continues Diane. “The hair direction for this show really was a celebration of the art of hair in a super glamorous way, made possible with Redken products.”
A breathtaking masterclass in artistic collaboration and an ode to modern glamour, this was one front row (and back of house!) you didn’t want to miss. Immerse yourself in the experience that was here, and be sure to check out Diane’s Hair Director diary from the day of the show HERE.
