AFW 26: DAY 4 HIGHLIGHTS

Day Four of Australian Fashion Week leaned into expression and restraint in equal measure, with hair direction shifting between sculptural precision, natural ease and understated polish.

Creativity peaked at Nicol & Ford, O&M COR.creator John Pulitano of Headcase Hair pushed texture and scale into surrealist territory, delivering directional, editorial shapes that echoed the collection’s theatrical energy. For Iordanes Spyridon Gogos, Dee Parker-Attwood and Jason Fassbender brought a more expressive lens, with hair that felt artistic, individual and charged with creativity.

The New Generation Showcase, led by Mary Alamine for O&M, softened the mood with cohesive, lived-in texture that enhanced natural movement across emerging designers, while Lee Mathews closed the tone with an effortless refinement – understated, organic and quietly modern.
