REDKEN RETURNS AS OFFICIAL HAIR SPONSOR OF AAFW

Redken steps up once again as Official Hair Sponsor of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, amplifying their reach with Redken Fashion Week Ambassador, Josh Heuston.

Following the success of the brand’s official 2022 partnership and the launch of the inaugural Redken Room concept, the fashion forward crew return in 2023, armed with new connections and the usual line-up of legendary hair directors.

Australian Actor, Josh Heuston has been revealed as Australian Fashion Week Ambassador, and will join Redken in setting the standard for hair fashion trends throughout the week.

“We’re thrilled to be continuing Redken’s relationship with Afterpay Australian Fashion Week as the Official Hair Sponsor, and working with Josh whose star quality is undeniable. Josh is at the forefront of beauty, fashion and social media, and personifies Redken’s unapologetic pursuit of innovation and excellence,” says Redken National Education Manager, Mark Thompson.

At the age of 26, Heuston has buit an auspicious reputation as a fashion and social media powerhouse, including his breakout role in Netflix’s hit, Heartbreak High.

“I’m so excited to be a part of Redken’s inner circle for Afterpay Australian Fashion Week. I’ve always loved expressing myself through fashion and beauty and I love Redken’s old-meets-new approach. I’ll be embracing the hair trends on the runway this year and maintaining them at the Redken Room across the week to stay Redken Ready!” he says.

Running from May 15th – May 19th at the event’s Sydney home, Carriageworks, hairdressers can expect the usual, mind-bending innovation from the Redken team, this year led by Richard Kavanagh, Diane Gorgievski, Kristy Hodgson and Justine Pace.

“We have such a strong team of hair gurus who inspire and educate their teams of emerging experts every day, so I’m looking forward to seeing the team’s backstage creations come to fruition on the runway,” says Thompson.
