Find out how Eleven Australia Co Creative Director Joey Scandizzo styled Emma Booth’s strands for the dazzling red carpet event.
She’s one of the Australian film and television industry’s finest exports, and was last night crowned the nation’s best actress at the 2017 AACTA’s. Hailing from Perth Western Australia, the bewitching blonde has fast amassed a number of notable gigs, most recently starring in the Ben Young directed Hounds of Love. (It was the actress’s stellar performance in the aforementioned movie that would in fact secure her the top gong!)
Stepping out in a suitably sparkly Leah Da Gloria custom gown and Jan Logan jewels, the Once Upon a Time actress was every bit the statuesque beauty… and, most definitely a red carpet favourite. To compliment Emma’s air of old world glamour, Co Creative Director for Eleven Australia Joey Scandizzo created a soft, wavy style that screamed Hollywood charm.
So, how did Mr. Scandizzo achieve Emma’s winning look?
Step One: Damp hair was first prepped using ELEVEN Australia’s Miracle Hair Treatment before being combed through
Step Two: I Want Body Volume Foam was next applied through roots to ends, before tipping the head upside down and drying
Step Three: Once hair was dry, Joey proceeded to divide hair into eight vertical sections, next taking a medium-size tong and wrapping each section of hair around the tong until warm.
Step Four: Hair was allowed to cool before curls were gently broken up with a wide tooth comb
Step Five: Tresses were next sectioned with a centre part, and hair pulled over to one side and secured with Give Me Hold Flexible Hairspray
Step Six: To finish, Make Me Shine Spray Gloss was applied all over to add shine and smooth flyaways
