It can dictate our mood, productivity and how we connect with others. An essential component to the salon every minute of every day, music plays a huge hand in business, success and just life in general, really.

We quizzed a few of Australia’s top salon owners on the tunes currently setting the tone in their ever-prosperous salon environments, and even carved out a hybrid playlist for your listening pleasure.

Amerikana by The Stevenson Ranch Davidians is a high vibe at present – they have an epic fuzz going on! I have blended the three albums into a cool playlist so we’re having an SRD feast at present. Spotify still rules at the salon though … trying to keep staff and guests content with music is not easy.
