Inside Milsons Point’s, scenic Wildlife Salon, hairstylists, editors, and influencers were invited to road test the new gold professional styler, whilst indulging on themed martinis, canapés… and afternoon chatter.

ghd Creative Director for Australia/New Zealand Richard Kavanagh first guided attendees through a super sleek sky high ponytail (on model and influencer Sammy Robinson), before detailing the myriad benefits of the brand’s latest offering: a sleek, and technologically superior upgrade on ghd’s universally popular platinum styler.

“For me, it’s really about the ergonomics and ease of use,” began Richard; “Not only does it give incredible results quickly and easily – for sleeker, smoother and shinier hair – but it’s [also] beautiful in the hand. When you’re working with a tool all day and every day, it’s really nice to have something that’s easy to use.”

Guests were treated to personal styling sessions courtesy of ghd Brand Warrior Brodie-Lee Stubbins, Wildlife Salon owner and ghd brand ambassador Jayne Wild, and a selection of the ghd style team, including Travis Bandeira. Stylists demonstrated a selection of sleek, textured and gold gilded looks, coaching attendees on the new styler’s use and versatility.
