This just in: Aveda have announced their expansion into Mecca Maxima, as the first cruelty free haircare brand to be stocked by the popular beauty chain.

Founded in 1978, Aveda continues to employ environmentally sustainable production practices, with naturally derived materials forming the basis of all hair and beauty merchandise.

While the full Aveda Hair experience (including the brand’s popular 20-minute high shine colour treatment) will remain exclusive to it’s 180 strong salon network, Mecca Beauty Junkies may now access the brand’s hair suite at various locations across Australia.

Shoppers will be able to select from a range of Aveda styling and care products, all of which may also be purchased via mecca.com.au.

“We are very excited about this new partnership with Mecca. This launch strengthens our eco-system and we are proud to once again be pioneers in the industry,” beamed Clint Piper, Aveda Australia General Manager.

“We believe our brand values really resonate with the Mecca Beauty Junkie and want to make our products easily accessible to this eco-conscious consumer and build awareness amongst millennial customers which in turn, will grow the Aveda brand across all channels.”

In celebration of the exciting new development, Aveda salon stylists will host a series of in-store Dry Styling Sessions, inviting Mecca’s Beauty Junkies to ‘Meet the Styling Experts’ and learn how to replicate perfect buns, braids and beach waves, using some of Aveda’s cult styling staples.

Aveda will be available in 10 Mecca Maxima locations across Australia, with more locations to be announced as of July 2018.
