LA BIOSTHETIQUE PRESENT INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY STYLIST AWARDS
This year, La Biosthetique’s best stylists from 27 countries around the globe participated in the annual International Beauty Stylist Award, held at the Salle Wagram in the heart of Paris on May 14th. Over 21 countries entered the photographic competition with their national winner, each one of them working to impress the judges with their complete Total Beauty look.
This year’s winner of La Biosthetique International Beauty Stylist Award is Elodie Lopes, from France. Followed by Suhua Zheng from China, and the third place was Francesca Slighthome from Great Britain! The beautiful entries epitomised the style, skill and brilliance of the La Biosthetique brand and its people within it. Based on a collection of 4 images, each entrant’s ‘total look’ was judged by an international panel of judges, including Benni Tognini.
Congratulations to everyone who entered in the competition, in particular Todd Arndt who was the Australian and New Zealand representative entering his beautiful collection in this years competition.
Owner of Brisbane salon Vogue Nationale, Todd Arndt took out the Australia/New Zealand title of the Beauty Stylist of the Year 2016, announced last year at the Australian network party La Soiree. Arndt is a seasoned stylist who worked on fashion shows around the globe and been a guest star educator for La Biosthetique across Australia and New Zealand.
THE SHOW: La Biosthetique’s international star artists took to the stage for an impressive show of new trends and avant garde hairstyling. Among them was Australian Education Manager, Alexander Fuchs, showcasing the latest trends for male haircuts. In the Salle Wagram, holding 1,200 people, the model showcase boasted over 40 models, multi- ple internationally recognised fashion labels, and dance duo Les Gamal, as well as the musical performances of violinists Regina and Julien.
THE PARTY: Last but certainly not least was the International Beauty Stylist Awards after party where over 1,000 La Biosthetique stylists from around the world celebrated in Paris till the early hours of the morning at the Salle Wagram. With special DJ guests and live entertainment, this was their best show yet!
