With Spring just around the corner, Aussie retail chain MYER turned up the heat for their SS19 Runway Series.

Commencing Thursday 24th August, the series’ Sydney leg saw a slew of style makers gather inside MYER’s George Street store, for a look at the department chain’s Spring/Summer 2019 offerings.

Headlining the launch was MYER Ambassador Rachel Finch who walked alongside new recruits Elyse Knowles and Josh Gibson.

Thursday evening also saw former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins bid farewell to the MYER cohort, following a twelve year tenure as face of the retailer.

On hand to ensure tresses were suitably styled were Joey Scandizzo and the Eleven Australia style team, who created a signature look for each of the evening’s runways.

“Sleek, smooth hair is going to be big for Spring/Summer – it’s all about the ‘glass hair’ trend this season,” said Scandizzo.

“We created two looks for the night that are sophisticated and feminine, but still easy to wear in real life”.

First up models walked the runway with high shine hair, parted deep to one side for the daytime-ready “Designer Devotee” show.

Next, hair was pulled back into a sleek, low ponytails for the evening-appropriate, “The Weekender” show. 

Hair was prepped using ELEVEN Australia’s Miracle Hair Treatment and Sea Salt Spray to first achieve desired texture.

Next, hair was smoothed using ELEVEN Australia’s Flat Iron and Medium Round Brush.

To complete the look, hair was spritzed with ELEVEN Australia’s Give Me Hold Flexible Hold Hairspray – for movability and shine.
