To each their own brow.

How do you launch an all new, all glam brow range? With a private jet, demos and an exclusive cocktail party no less.

To celebrate the launch of their all new 24-HR Super Brow range, the team at Kat Von D Beauty did just that and then some; adhering to the age old axiom: go big or go home (or go brow for that matter).

A troupe of influencers, makeup artists and beauty media were whisked away to Melbourne’s The George Ballroom for an exclusive live panel with Kat Von D’s Artistry Collective (Leah Carmichael, Steffanie Strazzer, Tara Buenrostro and Kelseyanna Fitzpatrick); a team of artists hand picked by Ms Von D herself to rep the brand’s portfolio in the US and internationally.

Kicking off a lively Q&A session was moderator Kelly Collier who asserted the relevance of the launch’s concurrence with the brand’s 10th Anniversary in Australia. “Kat Von D Beauty is all about no rules artistry,” she began. “We’re artists, poets and lovers who are bold, unapologetic and different in every way.”

Following Collier’s inspired introduction, each of the four Artistry members went on to recount their first interactions with Kat before answering a series of makeup, business, and inspiration-centric questions.

Attendees were next treated to bespoke brow demos (courtesy of Artistry Collective members and a selection of onsite makeup artists) before an exclusive cocktail party (complete with vegan delectables and themed cocktails) rounded out the day’s activities.

Brainchild of renowned tattoo and makeup artist Kat Von D, the eponymous beauty line is both cruelty free and entirely vegan, boasting a range of staples from foundations, concealers and eyeshadows to lipsticks, brushes, primers and two bespoke fragrances.

Given the brand’s extensive product suite, their decision to join the brow brigade was clearly a no brainer – with the move supported by both Kat’s and the artistry’s avid band of beauty devotees.

Developed with both the conservative and adventurous in mind, the new range includes the staple Signature Brow precision pencils, Brow Struck reflective powder (available in seven colours) and perhaps the most revolutionary product of all – the Super Brow pigmented pomade – a 16 hue palette of both natural and artistic shades.
